2015 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Litre v8 Parts and Accessories

 

The 2015 Ford Mustang Ecoboost was fantastic value for the money, but the GT was the actual Muscle Car Australian fans waited for all those years. Powered by Ford's Coyote V8 displacing 5 litres and filled with modern tech, the sixth generation Mustang GT delivered 303 kW (435 hp) and 525 Nm of torque. The powerful 5.0 litre V8 was filled with modern tech like aluminium cylinder heads, direct fuel injection and variable valve timing. The performance lived up to its name, and the S550 2015 Ford Mustang GT could accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds with the top speed of 250 km/h (limited). In terms of equipment, GT had the same interior features as the EcoBoost, difference style 19" wheel and the only options were colours and stripes. The buyers couldn't get subwoofer or tri-bar DLR lights that came standard on LHD American Mustangs. It was also first time in the pony car's 50-year history that every model including Mustang GT and Ecoboost was manufactured with an independent rear suspension system.

 

The S550 2015 Ford Mustang GT came as a coupe and convertible, with the prices starting at $54,990 for six speed manual transmission coupe. The automatic again cost $2,500 more, and the Mustang GT convertible was the most expensive model at $63,990. In the Australian market, the convertible Mustang GT was only available as automatic transmission (no six speed manual transmissions available).  

 

The 2015 Ford Australian-spec Mustang GT 5.0 litre v8 came with a different lower grille than the American models, bigger side mirrors and a base bonnet. The American models had twin louvres vents on the bonnet which gave the car more of an aggressive look. However, Ford Australia delivered export models came without it, and there were no differences in bonnet design between the GT and EcoBoost.
