The 2.3-liter Mustang was always a popular choice in Australia, which is why Ford decided to keep it for the 2021 model year while it killed that option on some other markets. The High Performance version delivered improved driving dynamics over the 2015 to 2019 model, more power and better looks due to the different front grille, spoiler and quad exhaust with the standard active exhaust system. For 2021, Mustang High Performance got a slight price increase, and it now costs $51,690 for a base 2.3-litre with a 6-speed manual.
